  7. ShadowStart is a small utility that should be called from the
  8. startup-sequence.
  9. If the activation-key is pressed down a requester pops up, asking
  10. you if you want the WBStartup-drawer, the User-Startup script
  11. or both to be disabled.
  12. This means, you can bootup a "clean" Workbench, without any programs
  13. in WBStartup or User-Startup executed!
  14. Since version 1.1 a new button called "NewShell" is available, which
  15. simply opens a shell window for changing things befor the
  16. startup-sequence is executed.

  18. Two versions of ShadowStart are included, one for OS 3.1 and
  19. one for OS 2.0+.

  22. NEW FEATURE FOR VERSION 1.3:
  23.  
  24.   Before any key checks are performed ShadowStart checks if the
  25.   SYS: partition is currently being validated.
  26.   If yes, Shadowstart waits 3 seconds and checks the disk state again.
  27.   When the validation is finished, ShadowStart automatically
  28.   continues with its normal execution.
  29.   The main effect of this feature is that startup execution will
  30.   be delayed until the SYS: partition is validated
  31.   (no more disk-trashing on startup).
  32.   The validation check is always performed, if the activation-key
  33.   is pressed or not.
